Body parts of missing Hindu teacher is recovered in Savar, Dhaka

Photo: collected Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) today recovered the mutilated body parts of the principal of a school and college in Savar, who had been missing for 27 days. Mintu Chandra Barman, principal of Savar Residential School and College, went missing from Ashulia on July 13. Ripon Chandra Barman, the victim's younger brother, lodged a general diary with Ashulia Police Station on July 22. Rab arrested three people. The arrestees are co-owners of the educational institute -- Rabiul, Motaleb, and Rabiul's nephew Badsha, the official said. The trio planned the murder on July 7. According to the plan, Rabiul and Badsha called the victim to an empty room of the school on the night of July 13 after Mintu finished taking coaching classes. Four Hindu Temple and numerous Hindu residence plundered and looted by Radical islamists, in Khulna Bangladesh.

  Beheaded idols of Hindu God and Goddes  A group of fanatic Islamists vandalized four temples and several shops and several houses of the Hindu community in Shiali village of Rupsha upazila in Khulna. Hundreds of Islamists attacked the village with local weapons around 6:15 pm on Saturday. Four temples, six shops and a house were vandalized. Upon receiving the news, senior police officers, including the Superintendent of Police, visited the spot. The whole village is in a state of turmoil; Police have been deployed. Sunamganj District Judge Court, after hearing a bail prayer filed by Jhumon's lawyer yesterday, did not give any order and postponed proceedings for two months. The Facebook post allegedly led to the mayhem in Noagaon village of Sunamganj's Shalla upazila on March 17, which saw about 90 Hindu houses vandalised and looted. No lawyer was initially willing to defend Jhumon in the case for security reasons, and that is why filing of a bail prayer was delayed, said his family. Lawyer Debangshu Sekhar Das, who later agreed to defend Jhumon, said securing bail in a case filed under DSA is tough for an accused.
