Islamist Terrorists Vandalize Seven Idols at Radha-Gobinda Temple in Tangail

 On September 19, 2024, Islamist terrorists vandalized seven idols at the Shree Shree Radha-Gobinda Temple in Sahapara, Karatipara, in the Habla Union of Basail Upazila, Tangail. The attack, reminiscent of the destruction in Palmyra, involved breaking off hands and heads from the idols. The vandalism occurred during the night of September 17, raising concerns about the safety of religious minorities in the area. Local authorities are investigating the incident and have increased security measures around places of worship.
