Letter 50 Hindu families calling for conversion to Islam at Magura in Bangladesh

 A letter has been issued in Chargoaldah and Malainagar villages of Dwariyapur union of Sreepur upazila of Magura urging them to leave Hinduism and convert to Islam. The handing over of such anonymous letters on Friday night has caused concern and panic among the Hindu community in the area.

Various quarters protested when the picture of the letter given by unknown people was spread on Facebook. Then the local administration sat motionless. Police later conducted a raid on Saturday afternoon and arrested three people on suspicion of involvement in the incident.
